The hotel room I stayed in was supposed to be 'superior' but felt more like a hairdresser's salon with constant noise and warmth due to no air conditioning. The room had maintenance issues like a big crack in the sink. While the staff were extremely helpful, the room quality was disappointing.

My stay at the hotel was a blend of positives and negatives. The rooms were lovely, spacious, and offered a nice view of the Abbey as I had requested, but they lacked that wow factor and leaned more towards a Travelodge style decor with dated furnishings. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was decent with plenty of hot water. However, the room felt cramped due to the outdated decor, and the bed wasn't as cozy as I would have liked. The breakfast was average, prompting us to adjust the room temperature to a cooler setting immediately upon entering.

Location

The hotel's location was brilliant, offering great value for money in the heart of Malvern, within easy reach of Great Malvern train station, main shopping streets, restaurants, and Priory Park. However, I expected a bit more from the hotel despite its proximity to the Gothic Priory, which is worth visiting.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience was mostly enjoyable, but it could get chaotic at times with limited quality and choice. Arriving early before the rush helped. Thankfully, there were no supplementary charges for certain items like hand-cut steaks.
Facilities
The hotel offered essential facilities but nothing exceptional. It would have been more pleasant with some updates and improvements to enhance the overall guest experience.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was bright and cheery with comfortable furnishings, although it faced the entrance which could be noisy with smokers. The service provided by the staff was top-notch, although a bit slow at times. The location was unbeatable, being right in the heart of Great Malvern near the priory. The dining experience was good overall, especially the buffet-style meals. The facilities were satisfactory for my needs.
